Letter from the President

As I walk through campus each day, I am constantly reminded that a University is more than just students, faculty, staff and buildings.

It is a community of individuals with a common goal— expanding knowledge in our communities.

In our buildings, our classrooms and our campuses, it’s easy to see the difference that our larger Bengal community makes in the lives of our students. In September, I attended the unveiling of the newly-named Kasiska Division of Health Sciences. At the event, many spoke of the 4,000 scholarships the Kasiska Family Foundation has offered to students since 1987, along with other gifts that total $17 million. Recently during the annual “I Love ISU” celebration, more than 1,100 Bengals donated more than $230,000 for student scholarships. Countless Bengal alumni have added to our community, mentoring students, promoting our university and making us proud as leaders in their fields.

As we continue another great academic year, I want to thank in our Bengal family for everything you do.

Go Bengals!
