Letter from the President
Happy October! It's been an exciting couple of weeks as we've welcomed our students - and alumni
- back to campus. In keeping with tradition, our newest class of Bengals joined us in August, marching through Swanson Arch before officially starting classes. The Pocatello and Chubbuck communities welcomed our students back in style with the annual CommUniversity "Welcome Back Orange and Black" celebration. Despite the rain, we had a record turnout for this great event. The community's support of our University continued during the annual "I Love ISU" campaign, which raised more than $194,000 for student scholarships. I want to personally thank all of our volunteers and donors - this will make such a huge difference in the lives of our students.
During Homecoming we welcomed back our alumni and friends for a weekend full of festivities, including multiple athletic wins - women's soccer, football and volleyball. It was a great weekend to be a Bengal! I hope you'll take some time to look through the virtual Homecoming scrapbook and relive your #isumemories. On behalf of all of us, I hope you'll read through the stories in this eNewsletter with great pride. Great things are happening at ISU!
Go Bengals!
