Champions Fund

Champions Fund with Bengal Head

The Champions Fund provides vital support for Athletics in areas of greatest need that advance ISU's mission of leading the Big Sky Conference academically, athletically, and in culture and experience. Donations to the Champions Fund are used at the discretion of Director of Athletics, Pauline Thiros, and help the Bengals compete for championships by providing each of our teams with the essential tools they need such as nutrition, medical care, academic support, and facility enhancements.

Cost of Attendance Fund

Cost of Attendance (COA) is an additional stipend distributed to student-athletes who are on scholarship to help cover expenses outside of a normal scholarship stipend like: housing, books and supplies, supplemental nutrition, non-athletically related medical care, and loan fees. The ability to award COA at a high level will represent a tremendous advantage in recruiting, and greatly elevate the quality of experience and wellness of Bengal student-athletes.

Recent contributions to Idaho State Track & Field and Cross Country helped Director of Track & Field and Cross Country, Hillary Merkley, and Head Cross Country Coach Zach Kughn purchase 50 new hurdles which were critical as the Bengals hosted the Big Sky Conference Championships. Funds also allowed for upgrades to Centennial Course that included much needed maintenance and widening of the course, and event indicator boards and computers were purchased to provide live results. These have been needed for a long time and represented a major upgrade to meet management, as well as student-athlete and fan experience.

Match Point Club

Match Point Club donations directly support Idaho State Volleyball and they are essential to the success of the program. Recent contributions to Match Point Club assisted with the purchase of a state-of-the-art HUDL video exchange and practice video storage. In addition, new couches were made possible for the team room in an effort to give the players a “home away from home” when studying and spending time with each other. This year, an anonymous donor has offered an exciting match for the program! All donations through the #Prepare2ROAR campaign up to $7,000 will be matched dollar for dollar.
