Services requested by a Physician or an authorized healthcare provider accompanied by a prescription or electronic/phone physician order.
Non-Diagnostic Health Maintenance Services
Non-Diagnostic health services are available during scheduled Health Fairs and other related health care events in the Pocatello and surrounding areas.
Health maintenance services that are not ordered by a physician but requested by the patient. Patients with diabetes, cardiac, and chronic disease comprise of the majority of self-referral testing. These tests are performed in conjunction with ISU’s health fairs. These services are not covered by insurance.
Employment Drug Screening
Pre-employment drug screening for ISU health profession students that require screening prior to clinical rotations.
Veterinary and Public Health Diagnostic and Monitoring Services
Some veterinary tests are completed on the same equipment as humans. This service would be available to local Veterinary Clinics that do not have the ability to perform these tests. Coggins testing would be available as this test has to be performed by personnel trained by the Federal APHIS.
