Join the Bengal-to-Bengal Program: An Important Invitation to ISU Alumni
We're excited to introduce the Bengal-to-Bengal program, an initiative designed to connect you, our alumni, with the bright, eager minds of newly admitted students. Through this program, you have the unique chance to welcome the next generation into our ISU family, sharing your insights, experiences and Bengal pride.
How You Can Make a Difference
The transition to Idaho State is a monumental step for students, filled with anticipation and dreams. Your words of encouragement, advice and welcome can significantly impact their journey, offering them a sense of belonging and excitement about joining Bengal Nation. By volunteering for the Bengal-to-Bengal program, you'll send a powerful message: they're not just going to college - they're becoming part of a supportive lifelong community.
What's Involved?
As a Bengal-to-Bengal volunteer, you'll receive a packet containing:
- A list of admitted students who are ready to hear from you.
- Bengal-to-Bengal cards for your personalized messages.
- A pre-addressed and stamped envelope for easy mailing back to the Alumni Office.
- Sample messages to inspire your own personalized greetings.
Your task is simple yet impactful: write a warm, welcoming note to each student on your list, sharing your ISU experiences, advice for starting their ISU journey and your best wishes as they embark on this exciting new chapter. Once your messages are penned with Bengal spirit, send them back to us through the mail, and you've done your part in welcoming the new class. Then we’ll take care of getting your notes to our future students.
Ready to Get Involved?
If you're as excited as we are about welcoming the newest members of Bengal Nation, please sign up through our "Get Involved" form by May 1, 2024. Indicate your interest and availability, and we'll follow up with all the details you need to participate.
Your participation in the Bengal-to-Bengal program not only strengthens the ties within our community but also reaffirms the enduring value of our ISU network.
Thank You, Bengals!
