Find Academic Support

ISU is dedicated to helping students succeed. Connect with KEY academic resources.

Central Academic Advising (CAA)

Provides specific advising for sophomores, transfer students, students on probation, and pre-Social Work majors.

  • Undecided sophomore, junior, and senior students contact CAA to schedule an advising appointment.

Freshmen have an Academic Coach assigned to them. Contact First Year Transition to schedule an academic coach advising appointment.

Take Action

Formally declare a major and be assigned a Departmental and/or Faculty Advisor. Advisors answer questions and explain the components of a degree including general education and major requirements. Meeting with an advisor each semester is the best way to make tracks to graduation.
