My
primary research interests are in the field
of controls and vibration. Current research topics include system
identification, adaptive controls, intelligent controls, system
dynamics, modeling
and simulation, smart materials, pattern recognition. Applications for
this
research are found in the area of biomedical systems, aerospace
systems, and structural
systems. My teaching activities correlate closely with my research
interests,
such as courses in controls, vibration, and measurement systems for the
Mechanical Engineering program and the Measurement and Controls
Engineering program
