Mission Statement
To promote enrollment of recent war veterans at ISU. To create the appropriate environment to facilitate the special needs of returning veterans. To establish ISU as a leader in providing veterans with the opportunity to attain a college education. To prepare for the provisions of the new "GI Bill for the 21st Century".
Purpose
To recruit Iraq/Afghanistan veterans to be students at ISU by creating a "veteran friendly" environment. ISU has identified the special needs, recognized the required environment, and will institute a multi-year strategic plan designed to label ISU as a leader in providing top quality education to the American veteran. This program is designed to be dynamic to respond to the needs of veterans to ensure their academic success.
