About IBAPP
"The Idaho Bioterrorism Awareness and Preparedness program (IBAPP) has been launched to provide bioterrorism and emergency preparedness training to Idaho's healthcare workforce.
Trainings include recognition and management of bioterrorist, all hazards and natural disaster emergency events. In order to span the state and reach the hundreds of health-care facilities, IRH is employing cutting-edge distance-learning methodologies to touch the hard-to-reach, rural, and busy health-care professionals.
Virtual Grand Rounds, Web casts, virtual table-top exercises and drill simulations, seminars, simulation lab hands-on scenarios, satellite broadcasts, and on-site courses are becoming available. Modules include an array of courses and presentations from Incident Command Systems to zoonotic diseases and are offered at different levels of proficiency.
The IBAPP program is funded by a grant provided through the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) to the Institute of Rural Health."
