Call for Abstracts

Deadline: Monday, February 13, 2017

Extended Deadline: Monday, February 20, 2017 @ Midnight

Graduate Students are now invited to submit proposals for the 2017 Graduate Research Symposium: Showcasing Scholarly and Creative Works

Graduate students may participate in the following areas:

  • Poster (Friday evening)
  • Creative Works (Friday evening)
  • Oral Presentation (Saturday)

Event Dates

Friday evening, March 31, 2017: Poster & Creative Works Session

Saturday, April 1, 2017: Oral Presentation & Professional Development Workshops

Submission Criteria

  • In 300 words or less, provide an accurate, succinct and informative representation of the content you plan to present.
  • Works in varying stages are welcome - in progress, completed, research, literature review, etc.
  • The recommended abstract format includes: Introduction/Statement of the Problem, Materials and Methods (as applicable), Results, and Conclusions (as applicable). Include all authors.
  • Documents should be formatted in appropriate citation style (will vary depending on discipline). While not all sections below can be completed - depending on your discipline- please be as thorough as you can. If a section is not applicable, list "N/A" in the section.

Tips

  • Works in varying stages are welcome - in progress, completed, research, literature review, etc.
  • All submitter's will be notified of acceptance after the deadline.
