Darin Jernigan has been a Physical Therapy educator at Idaho State University for the past 11 years. He is currently the Director of the Physical Therapist assistant program.

Darin graduated from ISU in 1988 with a BS in Exercise Science. During that time he was a member of the ISU track team. He was a Big Sky champion in the Hurdles and a member of the All-Big Sky Conference Academic team. Darin remains the ISU school record holder in the 60m Hurdles.

Darin has been a Physical Therapist for 22 years and a Wilderness EMT for 15. He recently obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in Dec 2011. During the summer months Darin works as a climbing ranger and EMT in Grand Teton National Park, which he has done for 16 summer seasons.

Why I Teach: I love passing on knowledge and skill while getting students excited about the educational process. I enjoy teaching students to love the act of learning and making that a way of life. There's no greater gift as an educator than developing a student's passion for learning.

Interests/Hobbies: Rock Climbing; Mountaineering; Road/Mountain Biking; Hiking; Running; Lifting; Fly Fishing; Travel.

Angela Lippiello

Angie Lippiello is an Idaho native and alum of Idaho State University. She holds an AAS in Physical Therapist Assistant and BS in Biology. Angie was awarded the Outstanding Physical Therapist Assistant Student on 2003 and received the Physical Therapist Assistant of the Year Award in 2008 from the Idaho Physical Therapy Association.

She currently is an Instructor and Academic Clinical Coordinator of Education for the PTA Program for the College of Technology. Angie is a Credentialed Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. She is an active member in the Idaho Physical Therapy Association and American Physical Therapy Association.
