Idaho State University Bengal Dancers

The ISU Bengal Dancers are the official dance team of Idaho State University, representing Idaho State at football games, men’s and women’s basketball games, soccer, volleyball and rugby contests.   

Bengal Dancers promote school spirit at school activities and town events by entertaining and encouraging crowd involvement.

The Bengal Dancers enjoy doing various volunteer activities throughout the year working with groups like the Idaho Food Bank, Salvation Army, Veterans Home and Bannock House. They are always looking for and finding new opportunities each year.    

The Bengal Dancers also represent Idaho State University at NDA nationals each year. They have been ranked in the top 10 since 2000, ranked in the top 5 since 2010, and won two National Championships in USA Large Open Jazz (2008)and Hip Hop (2007). They are currently ranked 2nd in the Nation @ NDA Division I Team Performance Nationals.  

The team is coached by Kolissa Manchan.  This is her 15th season as head coach of the Bengal Dancers.  She can be contacted at manckoli@isu.edu
